CPA Accountancy May 2009

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the CPA certified public accountant board exam results as 1231 out of 4262 examinees passed the licensure given by the Board of Accountancy on May 10, 11, 17 and 18, 2009 in Manila, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Baguio, Iloilo and Legazpi.

The composition of the Philippine Board of Accountancy are chairman: Eugene T. Mateo; members: Froilan G. Ampil, Ma. Elenita B. Cabrera (on leave), Rufo R. Mendoza and Lucila C. Tarriela.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, May 25, 2009 but not later than June 11, 2009. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
a. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
b. current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
c. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
d. 2 pieces 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
e. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
f. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
g. Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony will be held before the Board on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Roxas Boulevard, Manila, Philippines.

Registration for Membership with the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Inc. will start on Monday, May 25, 2009.
